We ask all new customers to bring their dog to Play Dayz For Woofs for a free settling in session. This is where we will give your dog time to get used to this brand new environment, play with their new friends and toys. This is also where we can find out a bit more about your dog. We will need to establish if your dog is possessive about food, toys or people. Are they ok walking on a lead or do they pull?
Once we are happy that your dog has settled in well with us, we will ask you to complete an application form which asks for key information about you and your dog.
We reserve the right to refuse any dog that is aggressive, destructive or possessive.
At Play Dayz For Woofs our focus is all about having fun and making sure your dogs are returned to you happy but very tired. We will endeavour to go on lots of walks and will spend lots of time playing in the garden with the toys.
For licensing purposes we will need to keep a record of your dog's vaccination book. This must be up to date. We will take a copy and will store on the company laptop for future record.
We will also require too see proof that your dogs worming and flea treatments are up to date.
To be registered with North Somerset Council as a Dog Boarding and Home Care service, your dog must comply with the following rules:-

If your dog is male and over 12 months he must be neutered.

Play Dayz For Woofs are licensed to care for up to 5 guest dogs at any one time. We feel that this is a good number to ensure each dog within our care is given quality time and focus.
Please be aware that if for any reason your dog becomes unwell or we experience behavioural issues, we will contact you to ask if you can collect your dog from our care. Please be sure your emergency contacts are aware of this and are able to come and collect your dog once contacted. This is extremely important if your dog is staying with us for a sleepover and we hope this never happens and we will do everything possible to make your dog's stay with us an enjoyable one.
If you require your dog to stay with us for a sleepover, we will ask you to complete a form to advise us about dates and drop off and pick up times.
Any dog that is boarding with us for a period of time must complete a day care session and also a trial sleepover whereby the owner can be contacted if there are any problems. Once this has been completed and a 50% deposit has been paid, we can confirm your dogs sleepover. We ask the balance to be paid by cash or bank transfer before or on the day you collect your dog from their holiday with us.
We ask you to provide enough food to cover your dog's stay with us. This is because we do not want to cause any stomach problems as a consequence of a change in diet. If you're happy for us to give your dog treats for good behaviour etc we would love to do this.
All dogs in our care will have provided for them an identity disc to wear on their collar. This will have Play Dayz For Woofs contact information engraved on it.
